How EU Investing Hub Works

What we cover, how facts get verified, and how this site makes money. The short version: partnerships are labeled, and verdicts are not for sale.

Coverage

What We Cover and Why

We focus on brokers, savings products, and investing tools that are available to European investors. Topics come from the questions European investors ask most: where to open an account, what things really cost, whether money is protected, and which tools are worth paying for. If a platform does not serve EU residents or operates without a recognized European license, we generally do not cover it.

Verification

How We Research and Verify

Reviews are based on hands-on use wherever possible, with real accounts and our own money. Screenshots come from those accounts. Figures such as fees, interest rates, bonus terms, and investor-protection caps are checked against the provider's official pages or the relevant regulator at the time of writing, and every article shows the date it was last updated. We do not copy numbers from other comparison sites.

Editorial process

How We Use AI

We use AI tools to help organise research, draft sections, translate and edit. A human editor reviews the substance of every article before publication. We check fees, rates, product terms, regulatory status and protection claims against primary sources or first-party evidence, and we weigh how reliable each source is. If we cannot confirm a claim, we remove it.

AI never sets our ratings, rankings or verdicts. The editor can change or reject any copy and approves what goes live. We hold editorial responsibility for everything we publish.

Reviews

How We Judge Platforms

Each broker or product we review gets an overall score out of 5, based on how it performs across the things that matter in practice: fees and FX costs, product and market range, regulation and deposit or investor protection, ease of use, and the quality of support. The headline score weights those factors rather than averaging them, so cost and safety count for more than nice-to-haves. The bands are Excellent (4.3 to 5.0), Good (3.5 to 4.2), Fair (2.5 to 3.4) and Poor (below 2.5). A cheap platform with weak protection will not top a comparison, and we call out high fees even when the app is polished. When a product has a serious limitation, it stays in the review, including when the provider is a partner.

Funding

How We Make Money

EU Investing Hub is funded by affiliate links and sponsored placements, such as the featured partner cards you will see across the site. If you sign up through one of our links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Two rules keep this honest. Paid placements are labeled, so you can always tell promotion from editorial. And we only partner with products we use ourselves or would recommend anyway. A commission can decide which welcome bonus we highlight; it does not change a rating, a ranking, or a verdict.

Maintenance

Updates and Corrections

Rates, fees, and bonus terms change without warning, so articles are refreshed on a rolling basis, with high-traffic comparisons checked first. If you spot something outdated or plain wrong, tell us through the contact form and we will fix it.
